Welcome to the v2.2.0 release of manifest-tool!
This release includes:
- A bug fix (#281) that corrects exit codes and includes better error strings/reporting. Thanks to @wylswz for the report!
- A new feature (#283) that enables adding annotations to the OCI index. Thanks to @gvenzl for the request!
Additionally, vendors have been updated to recent versions and now dependabot is being used in the project
to keep dependencies up to date regularly.
All binaries are now built with the latest Go (1.24.2) and the Alpine-based images are updated to the latest release tag (3.21.3).
