Welcome to my GitHub page. I’m Emily, a PhD student in Geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I hold a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design and a Bachelor’s in Geography from Middlebury College, where I also minored in Computer Science and Japanese Studies. My research experience centers on designing and developing geospatial research methods, with a particular focus on uncertainty analyses, spatial decision support systems, and spatial optimizations in the field of public health and environmental planning. I am deeply interested in refining geospatial research design and validating existing methodologies to address complex planning challenges.
