ETE4 video tutorial

ETE4 is under development, our team is working on bug fixes and some improvements.

Basic features

• With the mouse over the tree, you can zoom in / zoom out using the scroll wheel.
• If you click on the tree, you can move it and place the tree wherever you want.
• If you move the mouse to right, a gray column will appear, if you click on it you can move the layouts.
• On the top left, you can find the Control Panel, here you can activate /deactivate many options, for example, you can deactivate the minimap.

• On top right, you can hide /show the legend
• In the Control Panel, you can activate different layouts functions, for example, “Pfam domain” will show the Pfam domain architecture of the sequences.
• Also in the Control Panel you can activate the layout “Last common ancestor”, This layout showl the last common ancestor for each internal node on the tree.
• Sometimes, layout will appears one over the others, to solve that you just need to play with the zoom to display the layouts in the right position
