Building BIRT

BIRT is built with Apache Maven through Tycho on Eclipse CI.

To build BIRT with the latest Eclipse platform, run:

mvn clean verify -DskipTests=true

Building environment

• JDK 17
• Maven 3.9.0

Runtime Requirements

The current version of BIRT 4.20 is runable with JDK:

• JDK 17 (LTS), JDK 21 (LTS)

Tomcat version support:

• Tomcat 9.0.76, 9.0.85, 9.0.89, 9.0.93, 9.0.102, 9.0.105
• Tomcat 10 is not supported due to Jakarta EE dependencies
