How can I define the way my grid should order my items?

On this sample I have both strings and lists on my cells and I want both to be ordered as numbers.

so by default when using number or currency columns the cells will be ordered as numbers

   type: TrinaColumnType.number(), // or TrinaColumnType.currency()
   enableSorting: true, 

But I;ve just noticed that when using the select type, for example: TrinaColumnType.select<int>([1,2,3]), it doesn't order them as numbers (this can be fixed).

Ok so the issue here is you want to control how the sorting is applied. Currently the only way to do so is by defining a custom column type like this:

class CustomTextColumnType extends TrinaColumnTypeText {
  @override
  int compare(dynamic a, dynamic b) {
    num aNum = num.tryParse(a.toString()) ?? 0;
    num bNum = num.tryParse(b.toString()) ?? 0;

    return aNum.compareTo(bNum);
  }

  @override
  dynamic makeCompareValue(dynamic v) {
    return v.runtimeType != num ? num.tryParse(v.toString()) ?? 0 : v;
  }
}

And using it:

TrinaColumn(title: 'Id', field: 'id', type: CustomTextColumnType()),

This would be a nice upgrade to the package, and also an easier way to filter custom columns.

@Macacoazul01 The issue you referenced is about custom filters not custom Sorting.
But I guess we can add a new field to TrinaColumn to define how to sort cells. Will work on it soon.
