Networking-project-Diploma

☆ Structured Network Design and Implementation Project for International Institute of Computer Technology Management (IICTM) University

This project involves designing and implementing a network for IICTM University using a collapsed core architecture. The network is structured to ensure high availability and redundancy, incorporating advanced configurations like HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol) for router redundancy, along with security measures such as NAT (Network Address Translation) and ACLs (Access Control Lists). The design also includes inter-VLAN routing, server configurations with DHCP, and ADDS (Active Directory Domain Services) on Windows Server 2019.

☆ The devices used for real scenario configurations:

Cisco 2900 Series Router - Deployed as the core router with HSRP configuration for redundancy.

Cisco Catalyst 3750 48 Port Layer 3 Switch - Used for Layer 3 switching, inter-VLAN routing, and network segmentation.

Cisco Catalyst 2960 24 Port Layer 2 Switch - Used for Layer 2 switching and providing network connectivity to end devices.

Windows Server 2019 - Configured with DHCP for dynamic IP assignment and ADDS for managing the domain and users within the network.

This project was specifically designed to meet the networking needs of IICTM University, ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure capable of supporting the university's operations and academic requirements.
