Developed an interactive financial sales analysis dashboard using Power BI to provide insights into global sales performance, profitability metrics, and discount impact across various countries.
This dashboard helps the company understand their sales and profits better. The dashboard highlights key financial metrics such as Gross Sales, Profit, Units Sold, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), represented through both map visuals and numeric KPIs. It gives them a holistic view of their sales and profits and helps in identifying areas of improvement.
For instance they can dive deeper into why the profit for enterprise segement is very low despite moderate sales.

Step 1 : Load data into Power BI Desktop, dataset is an excel file.

Step 2 : Open power query editor & in view tab under Data preview section, check "column distribution", "column quality" & "column profile" options.

Step 3 : Create a home page with a navigation panel, four KPIs.

Step 4 : Add a map to highlight various metrics country wise and add the drill through page giving a detailed view of the sales (year, month and quarter wise).

Step 5 : Create a sales analysis page containing visuals depicting how sales are affected by different metrics.

Step 6 : Create a likewise profit analysis and discount analysis page.

Step 7 : Visual filters (Slicers) were added to every page according to the need.

Step 9 : Add navigation between pages using bookmarks and selection pane.
