Before running the application, you need to set up the environment variables required for the project's dependencies. Create a .env
file in the root directory of the project and include the following configurations:
- Prisma Database URL: Specify your database connection URL.
DATABASE_URL="your_database_connection_url"
- Next Auth: If using third-party authentication providers (e.g., Google, Facebook, Twitter), specify the necessary API keys and secrets.
AUTH_PROVIDER_SECRET="your_auth_provider_secret"
NEXTAUTH_URL="http://localhost:3000"
- External APIs: If the project interacts with external APIs through Axios, include the relevant API keys.
These are the basic configurations you may need to adjust depending on which services and APIs your project utilizes. Ensure to replace placeholder values with actual keys and URLs. Additional environment variables might be required for advanced features or specific integrations not covered here.
