This event convened 255 participants from grades 11 and 12, witnessing a convergence of tech innovation and financial acumen. Distinguished by its cutting-edge trading terminal, developed using five programming languages from scratch, the terminal processed over 3000 transactions within a mere three-hour timeframe. Participants were provided with a wealth of resources, including press releases, rollout plans, annual reports for ten fabricated companies, and a cryptocurrency listed exclusively for the event.
Participants were deeply impressed by the meticulous planning of the event, considering it among the best events they had ever experienced. They found the event to be highly educational, providing valuable insights into financial literacy that they could take away with them.
- The Django-based virtual stock exchange platform was deployed on AWS EC2 using NGINX, Gunicorn, and PostgreSQL via Amazon RDS.
- The server was optimized and tested to handle up to 255 concurrent users, with excellent response times and no downtime during the event.
- In 2025, the platform was further enhanced and modularized to ensure seamless handover and usability for future editions of the event, enabling long-term sustainability and ease of maintenance.

The Podar World Schools, which operate with a prime purpose of building young minds to spearhead a dynamic future globally held their Podar Principals’ Conclave in Mumbai on 5th of June, 2024. Around 100 delegates, including Principals, Head Mistresses, Coordinators, Counsellors and Teachers were welcomed from Podar World Schools and Podar Jumbo Kids’ centres across India.
The Trustee, Mr. Raghav Podar mentioned, “One of the speakers, Devamrit, spoke about 5,000 lines of code, then 15,000 lines of code, and all of that. I believe this serves as an inspiration for all of you in your schools to have these shining stars as well. You have your own 'Devamrits' in your schools too, and I am waiting to see your schools have these flagship events too.”
