A Simple YouTube Downloader In Python With pytube.

Compatibility

For version 1.2.0 executables:

OS: Windows 7/10/11 (64/32-Bit) OR Linux (amd64 only)
Dependencies: FFMPEG WIN/LINUX Binary (downloaded automatically from v1.2.0 or later)
RAM: 512MB Minimum, 1GB Reccommended
CPU: 1.00Ghz Minimum
System Requrirements have not been tested!

For python (.py) v1.2.0 script:

Python Version: v3.11 or later (reccommended)
Dependencies: pytubefix, requests & FFMPEG (will be downloaded automatically)

How to Use?

First Use

  • Open YTGet.
  • Wait for FFMPEG to be downloaded (83MB)
  • Then Continue as given below.

Second or Later Use

  • Enter URL in "Enter YouTube URL" Section.
  • Click "Fetch Qualities".
  • Select a Quality.
  • Click Download.
  • Wait sometime (see the progress bar) and your download must be saved in "[USER]/Videos/YTGet".

FFmpeg is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1.
A copy of the license is included in the archives which are used to download ProjectYTGet from (v1.1.0 or later).
