Example

add code build.gradle in project

allprojects {
    repositories {
        jcenter()
    }
}

add code build.gradle in module

dependencies {
    compile 'com.crust87:texturevideoview:1.0.4'
}

append your layout xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto">

    <com.crust87.texturevideoview.widget.TextureVideoView
        android:id="@+id/videoClip"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="match_parent"
        android:background="@android:color/transparent"
        app:scaleType="fitCenter" />
</RelativeLayout>

and set video Uri

mVideoView.setVideoURI(videoUri);
mVideoView.start();
