Developed as a Chingu Voyage Project - Surgery Center Status Board Project Requirements
Surgery Status Board is a web application that tracks patients' progress and displays it on a monitor in the waiting room, as well as on a mobile device.
This application provides real-time surgery status updates for hospital staff, families and loved ones. Guest users can view real-time surgical updates. Surgical team members can update patient status throughout the procedure. Admins can register new patients, update patient information, and initiate tracking. Patient privacy is a core component that ensures compliance with HIPPA laws. The application is designed to reduce uncertainty in waiting rooms, improve communication and reduce stress during critical moments.
- Real-time Patient Status Display
Allows guest users (e.g., family members, loved ones) to view the patient's current surgical status in real time using the patient's assigned ID number.
- Surgical Status Updates
Enables surgical staff to update the patient's status throughout the procedure.
- Patient Information Management
Provides admins with tools to register new patients, update patient information, and initiate status tracking. This is done while maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPPA laws.
