This workshop is an introduction to working with raster and vector data in R for researchers in urbanism or related fields. After a brief introduction to R (Lesson 1, Episodes 1-4), it focuses on vector (Lesson 2, Episodes 5-9) and raster data (Lesson 3, Episodes 10-14) and concludes with practical GIS operations using OpenStreetMap data (Lesson 4, Episodes 15-16). The workshop is designed to be taught in two full days.
