Why this should be merged
With the successful uplift of the
validatorspackage to AvalancheGo, we can now remove the original package from subnet-evm. I called attention to specific changes in the comments below.Note that as AvalancheGo is on Go
v1.24.9, this PR is blocked by #1821, which should be merged before this PR.How this was tested
