This project was born out of a very personal incident.
While I was away on a short vacation, I lost some of my pet fish because they werenβt fed on time.
That really hit me. So, I decided to create a robust, offline-capable fish feeding system using the ESP8266 microcontroller.
Now, even if there's no internet, my fish will get fed on time. Every time.
- β±οΈ Scheduled Feeding Twice Daily
- π Double Servo Rotation to Ensure Proper Feed Drop
- π Telegram Alerts for Feeding Confirmation
- π Power-Efficient (LED only active during feeding)
- π΄ Works even without Internet after being programmed
- π§ Smart yet student-built & DIY-friendly
This isnβt just a project; it's a solution to a real problem.
I wanted peace of mindβknowing that no matter where I am, my fish are taken care of.
This feeder is my small tribute to that idea.
- ESP8266 NodeMCU v3
- Micro Servo SG90
- Jumper Wires
- Custom 3D-printed or handmade feeder lid (optional)
- Telegram Bot for Notification
- Power Bank / Adapter for power

The system sends:
- β Confirmation after every feed
- π Daily summary (optional)
- Alerts even when youβre not at home
In case of internet failure:
Pre-set feeding times still run flawlessly thanks to internal scheduling.
No data loss. No starvation. Just reliable care.
