🛠 Installation

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/aniveshsamal/Intelligent-Research-Assistant-Chrome-extension-.git

2. Load in Chrome

   • Open chrome://extensions/
   • Enable Developer mode
   • Click Load unpacked and select the extension/ folder

3. Pin the Extension Add the Intelligent Research Assistant icon to your toolbar for quick access.

📖 Usage

1. Browse any article, paper, or PDF in Chrome.

2. Highlight text or right-click on a keyword.

3. Choose an action from the context menu:

   • Summarize
   • Expand / Explain
   • Paraphrase
   • Search in Journals
   • Add to Notes

4. View results in the extension popup and save or export them as needed.

⚙️ Configuration

• API Keys: Enter your OpenAI API key or other database credentials under Settings.
• Default Citation Style: Choose APA, MLA, or Chicago.
• Custom Search Engines: Add or remove journal databases and websites to tailor your meta-search.
