After more than a decade as a frontend developer, I’ve worked on thousands of projects—ranging from small business websites to large-scale university systems. I have a degree in Software Engineering and a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
These days, I focus on teaching and mentoring through live streams, tutorials, and open source projects. My YouTube channel is all about learning by doing — building from scratch with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to help devs truly understand the web.
- Live coding streams every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am CST (3:30pm UTC) on YouTube
- UI tutorials and videos focused on CSS, accessibility and responsive layouts
- My personal blog — built with HTML, SCSS, vanilla JavaScript, PHP, and a lot of
♥️
- Semantic HTML, modern CSS, and responsive layout systems
- Accessibility and SEO best practices
- Vanilla JavaScript and frontend workflows
- Git, GitHub, and practical open source collaboration
- Building without frameworks for clarity — but trained to use them when needed
- Advanced Velocity templating in CMS environments like Cascade Server
I’ve worked across a broad range of tools and platforms, from university CMSs to modern frontend frameworks. Here’s what I use regularly:
⚙️ Experienced with both REST APIs and database design across SQL and NoSQL systems.
🐧 Comfortable managing cloud servers and deploying LAMP stacks on Linux-based environments.
🧰 Comfortable working with package managers like npm, nvm, and composer. I’ve used tools like Webpack across long-term projects, even when I haven’t configured them from scratch.
I run a frontend-focused channel where I live code, answer dev questions, and share the creative process behind building for the web.
