Hi there! I'm Aleeya Mohamad Roki, a curious and driven Data Science student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a strong interest in the intersection of AI, data, and meaningful design. Originally from Malaysia, I’m passionate about building projects that make information clearer, interactions smarter, and education more inclusive.
I have hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and building intelligent tools using languages like Python and R. My recent work includes:
- Developing an AI-powered web app that turns Reddit rants into poems using Flask, React, and Gemini
- Analyzing 30GB of NYC Taxi data using HTCondor and R for distributed computing and trend analysis
- Visualizing regression and t-test results to quantify the impact of COVID-19 on urban mobility
- Working on structured pipelines using tools like
pandas
,tidyverse
, andRDS
for exploratory insights
In addition to data work, I'm comfortable with full-stack development and love collaborating across systems. My toolbox includes:
- Languages & Frameworks: Python, R, SQL, Java, JavaScript, React, Flask, Tailwind, Bash, HTML/CSS
- Tools: Tableau, Power BI, HTCondor, Netlify, JupyterLab, Render, GitHub, Webflow
- Concepts: Prompt engineering, statistical inference, REST APIs, data cleaning, UX for data tools
- Bucky’s Classroom Ambassador – Sharing my college journey with Wisconsin K–12 students to promote higher ed access and inclusivity
- Facilities Office Assistant – Used RStudio to analyze turnover metrics and optimize apartment operations at UW Housing
- International Presenter – Spoke at a Fully Residential Schools International Symposium representing Malaysian boarding schools
I’m always eager to:
- Explore how AI can improve daily workflows and creativity
- Contribute to inclusive tech spaces and meaningful outreach
- Learn, share, and collaborate with like-minded builders and dreamers
