Description

This Revit add-in automates the process of placing floors, ceilings, and walls for room finishing.

Features

1. Set Parameters: Initializes necessary parameters for room finishing.
2. Place Floors: Automatically places floors in the rooms.
3. Place Ceilings: Automatically places ceilings in the rooms.
4. Place Walls: Automatically places walls in the rooms.

Installation

1. Download the Add-In: [Download Link]

2. Extract Files: Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a directory of your choice.

3. Run the Installer:

   • Locate and run the executable file (installer.exe).
   • This will automatically copy the add-in files to the required Revit Add-Ins folder.

4. Launch Revit: Start Revit. You should see a new tab or buttons related to the Room Finishing Add-In.

Usage

Set Parameters

Click the Set Parameters button to assign the necessary parameters to the rooms.

Place Floors

Click the Place Floors button to automatically place floors in the rooms.

Place Ceilings

Click the Place Ceilings button to automatically place ceilings in the rooms.

Place Walls

Click the Place Walls button to automatically place walls in the rooms.

Requirements

• Revit Version: Ensure you are using a compatible version of Revit (2020 to 2024).
• .NET Framework: Ensure you have the appropriate .NET Framework installed.

Troubleshooting

• Parameters not set: Ensure that the Set Parameters button is clicked before attempting to place floors, ceilings, or walls.
• Elements not placed correctly: Verify that the rooms are properly defined and that there are no overlapping or conflicting elements.
