About Me

I am a passionate B.Tech student (2026 batch) with a keen interest in web development, open-source contributions, and learning new technologies. I have hands-on experience with full-stack development, including front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. I am also familiar with the MERN stack and love to explore new frameworks and libraries to expand my skillset.

Projects

1. Zerodha Clone

  • Tech Stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js
  • A full-stack trading platform clone built with the MERN stack, replicating key features of Zerodha. It allows users to view real-time stock prices, place orders, and manage portfolios.

2. Online Meal Ordering

  • Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • A simple web application where users can browse a menu, customize meals, and place orders. It includes dynamic features such as price calculation and shopping cart management.

3. Weather App

  • Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (API Integration)
  • A weather application that fetches real-time weather data using an external API, allowing users to search for weather information based on location.

Getting Started

To run my portfolio locally on your machine:

  1. Clone the repository:
    git clone https://github.com/aakanshimalik/portfolio.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:
     cd portfolio
    
  3. Install the necessary dependencies:
     npm install
  4. Start the project:
     npm start
