1. Haste Laundry

Tech Stack

Challenge
📞 Phone-based orders at our laundromats caused:
• Order errors from miscommunication
• 10+ min/call handling time
• Cash App / Zelle payments requiring manual reconciliation

Solution
🛠️ Built a 24/7 web app with:
• Product catalog → Eliminated order errors
• Real-time tracking → Cut customer support calls by 65%
• Stripe integration → Automated payments (100% audit trail)
• Email/SMS alerts → Improved customer trust at each stage

2. Berhin Inventory (Point of Sale Software)

Tech Stack

Problem
💸 Existing POS systems were:
• Bloated: 500 MB+ install size (Chromium-based)
• Overkill: Packed with unused features hurting performance
• Inaccessible: Couldn't run on older hardware (2GB RAM machines) • Misaligned: Complex workflows didn't match our simple inventory needs

Solution
⚡ Engineered a 4MB desktop app with Tauri + Rust that:
• Runs flawlessly on decade-old PCs
• Contains only essential features, cutting memory usage

Results
✅ 0 fatal crashes in 6 months of production use
🚀 Onboards new staff in <15 minutes (vs 2+ hours on legacy systems)
