The game is divided into two main phases:
- Preparation Phase: Players have a set amount of time to explore the arena, collect resources (branches), and place traps to prepare for the boss fight.
- Boss Fight: After the preparation time is over, the boss (Kolobok) spawns, and the fight begins.

There are two playable characters, each with a unique ability.
The Fox is a nimble character with a stealth ability, perfect for players who prefer a tactical, hit-and-run playstyle.

to become nearly invisible for a short duration. While in stealth, the boss cannot see the Fox, allowing you to reposition or avoid attacks.
The Wolf is a strong and aggressive character with a powerful charge ability.

Kolobok is the main antagonist of the game, a fearsome boss inspired by a classic fairy tale character. The fight with Kolobok has two stages:
- Stage 1 (Rolling): Kolobok rolls around the arena, attempting to ram the player.
- Stage 2 (Jumping): When Kolobok's health drops below a certain threshold, it enters a more aggressive second stage. In this stage, Kolobok will periodically jump and create a shockwave, dealing area-of-effect damage.
Kolobok can be stunned by traps, providing a window of opportunity for players to deal damage.
