This repository is designed to support the training team and course attendees by providing clear and structured documentation for every stage of the course—from preparation to hands-on execution.
We’ve organized our resources into three main categories to support different requirements:
These guides are intended to help instructors and course organizers with content development, data management, and session planning. They ensure consistent formatting, smooth integration with virtual tools, and streamlined content delivery.

- Course Data Guide – Organizing, naming, and uploading datasets and practical materials.
- Course Module Guide – Structuring training modules to align with learning outcomes.
- Presentation Guide – Managing session slides, internal vs. shared folders, upload process.
These guides help participants prepare their local or cloud environments before the course. Having a consistent and functional environment is essential for smooth participation in practical sessions.

- Linux Learning Resources – Introductory resources for working in Linux environments.
For in-person courses, we provide setup requirements for computer labs and hired workstations to ensure participants have the correct environment ready upon arrival.

- Informatics Facilities Guide – Includes lab specs, hybrid setup requirements, power and internet setup, workstation/laptop specs, and more.
To deliver a successful and engaging course experience, it’s essential that training teams review the provided materials ahead of time. This reduces last-minute troubleshooting and improves confidence and clarity for everyone involved.

The course data are free to reuse and adapt with appropriate attribution. All course data in these repositories are licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Each course landing page is assigned a DOI via Zenodo, providing a stable and citable reference. These DOIs can be found on the respective course landing pages and can be included in CVs or research publications, offering a professional record of the course contributions.
