🌪️ SankatMochak - Disaster Management App

SankatMochak is a mobile application built using Kotlin, XML, and Firebase that empowers users and authorities to efficiently report and respond to disaster incidents. It facilitates real-time communication, secure user authentication, and centralized incident management to improve disaster response times and coordination.

🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

Installation Steps

  1. Clone the repo

    git clone https://github.com/Vikas9kumargupta/SankatMochak.git
    cd SankatMochak
  2. Open in Android Studio

    • File → Open → Select SankatMochak directory
  3. Set up Firebase

    • Enable Email/Phone authentication
    • Create Incident, Users, and Reports collections in Realtime DB
    • Configure Firebase Storage and FCM (optional)
  4. Build & Run the App

    • Connect your device or emulator
    • Click ▶️ to run the app
