This release will focus on: * additional workflow support for removable drives * performance and scalability for large data sets * batch submission via SWORD 2.0 * editing of repository metadata via SWORD 2.0

  • Batch Editing Features

    A set of features and fixes that will allow the workbench to perform batch metadata edits to existing collections. This is a critical need for repository workflow and includes many use cases: * remove a matching XML element from every record * add a preset XML element to every record * crosswalk from a new source into existing records * move information from one element to another in existing records All of these will require download of records and posting of new records within Collections or Folders.

  • Release 2

    This release will bring enhanced crosswalks and staging behavior into the stable release. * Staging is faster on iRODS * Better staging progress bars * Support for arbitrary nesting of crosswalk output elements * Full schema-driven MODS support in crosswalks A test plan for this release is here: https://github.com/UNC-Libraries/Curators-Workbench/wiki/Release-1.2-Test-Plan
