HEP-CE Simulation Model

The Hepatitis C Cost Effectiveness (HEP-CE) model is a Monte Carlo health-state-transition simulation model which simulates the spread and treatment of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the United States.

WARNING: The init_cohort.csv file in shared_data/ is simply a placeholder. Before performing a simulation run, make sure to replace this file with your intended cohort file.

Dependencies

• LLVM/clang
• GNU make
• R programming language (optional, for running initial cohort generation)

Building HEP-CE

git clone https://bitbucket.org/belinas/hep-ce.git
cd hep-ce
make

The above commands will build the model in hep-ce/bin.
