still in need of cooking
Collection Exporter lets you export specific collections from osu!stable as .osz files. You can use them to backup your downloaded beatmaps or import them into osu!lazer1
Shout-out to osu-db-parser, without it this project wouldn't exist (or would take much more time)
Also you should probably just use Collection Manager, it's way more polished and kinda just better.
- You can't export individual difficulties, only entire beatmaps
- I just kinda think it would be undesirable. If you had only a single difficulty in a collection, only that one diff would be exported and that's not really what you want most of the time (and that's not what I needed when I wrote it). Then you'd hafta redownload the map again, halfway defeating the purpose (why redownload something you already have and in large numbers too).
- It doesn't do anything with collections in Lazer: you can't read from them, add beatmaps into collections in-bulk or anything like that.
Caution
There may or may not be a bug related to path separators. The program is tested (and works) on Windows (which uses backslashes), be careful if you're on Linux etc.
- install node.js
npm install osu-db-parser jszip
- ???
- profit
The program works, you can use it if you really wanna, but it doesn't have any interfaces, everything is done by downloading / forking it and changing the code.
- Make a proper CLI
- Make it a webapp (because why not)
- Add Lazer collections support?? (kinda don't wanna deal with parsers)
- Fix the bug which may or may not exist
Footnotes
-
While you can import maps directly in Lazer, it will import all beatmaps, and that's good, but not always desirable. I have a lot of maps that I don't really wanna import and I made this app to help with that. ↩
