Field Region update was not previously completed so this PR accomplishes that.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The update method in the FieldRegionRepository was refactored to call updateProperties before updating related entities. Explicit undefined checks replaced truthy checks for relation fields. The previously commented relation update logic was implemented, and the redundant final updateProperties call was removed. The method now returns the updated entity.

Changes

File(s) Change Summary
src/components/field-region/field-region.repository.ts Refactored update method: moved updateProperties call before relation updates, used explicit undefined checks, implemented relation updates, and removed redundant updateProperties call.

70-70: Good practice: Moving property updates before relation updates.

Moving updateProperties to execute before handling relations is a solid architectural decision that ensures simple properties are updated first, which could be important if relation updates depend on the updated properties.

72-74: Critical fix: Proper handling of falsy but valid values.

The change from truthy check (if (directorId)) to explicit undefined check (if (directorId !== undefined)) is crucial. This ensures that falsy but valid values like null (to clear the relation), 0, or false can be properly handled, while still skipping when the field is not provided in the update.

76-78: Consistent implementation for fieldZoneId relation.

The same correct pattern is applied for fieldZoneId with explicit undefined checking and proper relation update implementation. This maintains consistency with the directorId handling.

80-80: Standard practice: Returning updated entity.

Returning the updated entity via readOne follows standard repository pattern practices and ensures the caller receives the current state of the entity after all updates are applied.
