Welcome to the very first public release of Refloow Video Editor! This version marks the foundation of a powerful, yet simple, desktop video editing tool built for creators who need to perform essential cuts and edits quickly.

This initial release is focused on providing a stable core experience for Windows users.

Key Features in This Version

  • Media Importing: Easily import your video files into the media pool.
  • Multi-Track Video Timeline: Arrange clips on multiple video tracks for more complex edits.
  • Clip Splitting: Use the scissors tool to cut your clips precisely where you need to.
  • Clip Trimming: Easily trim the start and end of your clips by dragging their edges on the timeline.
  • Live Preview: Scrub through your timeline and see a real-time preview of your edited sequence.
  • Final Video Rendering: Export your finished timeline into a single, high-quality MP4 video file.

⚠️ Known Issues & Current Limitations
As this is the first release, there are a few important limitations to be aware of:

  • Windows Only: This initial release provides an installer exclusively for Windows (x64). We plan to make macOS and Linux builds available in future releases.

  • No Audio Track Support: The dedicated audio track is not yet functional. Audio from your source video clips will be included in the final render, but separate audio editing is not yet supported.

🚀 What's Next?
Our focus for the next versions will be on:

  • Implementing full support for dedicated audio tracks.
  • Creating builds for macOS and Linux.
  • Continuously improving performance and fixing bugs reported by the community.
