This project is an ecommerce platform for a gold shop, built using Java programming language. The platform will have both Android and iOS versions, and it will be migrated to Kotlin soon.
The GoldShop Ecommerce project has the following features:
- User registration and login
- Product browsing and searching
- Product details page with images, description, and price
- Shopping cart management
- Checkout process with payment integration
- Order history and tracking
The following technologies were used in building this project:
- Java programming language
- Spring Boot framework for backend development
- Hibernate ORM for database management
- Postgres database system
- Kotlin Multiplatfrom Mobile framework for mobile app development
To get started with the GoldShop Ecommerce project, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository to your local machine.
- Install the required dependencies using Maven.
- Set up a MySQL database instance.
- Configure the application.properties file with your database credentials.
- Run the application using
mvn spring-boot:run.
