From Fridge is an Android application that helps users discover Chinese recipes based on ingredients they already have at home. It aims to reduce food waste and inspire creativity in everyday cooking by making it easy to manage your virtual fridge and match ingredients to real recipes.
This app works with a custom Java Spring Boot REST API backend available at:

- Open the project in Android Studio.
- Ensure you have a working emulator or physical device.
In RetrofitInstance.java
, update the BASE_URL
to match your backend address (local or deployed):
