Glad to see you here π€©!
I'm a Master's student in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, diving deep into the world of Intelligent Systems. My mission? To build AI that can see, hear, and understand context, moving us closer to truly aware and helpful technology. My core passion lies in Multimodal Machine Learning, where I get to blend vision, language, and audio to solve complex, real-world problems.
My work is a mix of broad research interests and specific, ongoing projects.
Core Interests:
- AI/ML Research: Working on exciting projects that blend innovation with a pinch of ambition.
- NLP & CV: Crafting models to understand text, interpret images, and sometimes both simultaneously.
Current Focus:
- π€« Project Under Wraps: Developing a new, large-scale benchmark intended to become a standard for the community. (More to come!)
- π Open Source: Contributing to UTD-Notebook, a new platform for sharing course notes at my university.
- π§Ή Finishing What I Started: I'm on a mission to finish my incomplete projects before starting new ones. (Holding myself accountable!)
- π» The Daily Grind: And of course, LeetCode. (It's a love-hate relationship.)
I started my journey in full-stack development, building web apps from scratch. That foundation gave me a deep appreciation for building things that people can actually use. My curiosity, however, pulled me into the AI rabbit hole. Now, I'm obsessed with closing the gap between a research paper and a production-ready intelligent system. I've gone from building websites to building "brains," and I couldn't be more excited about what's next.
When I'm not training models or debugging code, you'll likely find me:
- Strategizing my next move in a game of chess.
- Getting lost in a good thriller or murder mystery novel.
- Exploring the best food spots around Dallas with friends.
I'm always open to discussing new ideas, collaborating on interesting projects, or just chatting about the future of AI. Feel free to reach out!
