Installation

  1. Clone the Repository:
git clone https://github.com/Overdrive141/selftalk-ai.git
  1. Navigate to the Project Directory:
cd selftalk-ai
  1. Install Dependencies:

Ensure you have Node.js installed. Install packages with:

npm install
  1. Set Up Environment Variables:

Duplicate .env.example and rename it .env:

cp .env.example .env

Replace placeholder values with actual credentials:

POSTGRES_URL=your_postgres_url
POSTGRES_USER=your_postgres_user
POSTGRES_HOST=your_postgres_host
POSTGRES_PASSWORD=your_postgres_password
POSTGRES_DATABASE=your_postgres_database
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key
ELEVEN_LABS_API_KEY=your_eleven_labs_api_key
OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key

APP_URL=your_application_url

Note: Secure your .env file, as it contains sensitive information.

Usage

Development Server

Start the server with:

npm run dev

Access at http://localhost:3000.

Building for Production

Compile the application with:

npm run build

The compiled app will be in .next.
