Adding
permissions: contents: readrestricts the workflow token to contents only. Thecodeqljob callsgithub/codeql-action/.github/workflows/codeql.yml@v3, which requiressecurity-events: write(and typicallyactions: read, contents: read) to upload SARIF results. With the new top-level block,security-eventsremains unset (defaults tonone), so CodeQL can no longer publish results and the workflow will fail or silently drop findings. Explicitly declare the full set of permissions the CodeQL reusable workflow expects rather than onlycontents: read.Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
