The current paste tool inserts objects at the map's viewport center.
Add a new tool that pastes objects at their original (map coordinates) location.

I have a usecase:
I have a master map from which I cut out a part for a specific event. I prepared that map extract (adding text etc.) and then had to change some objects without wanting to first adapt the master map and then do all the preparational stuff again.
If I want to backport those changes to the master map I can copy the object from the map extract to the master map but have to move it to the correct location.
Pasting at the original location does the job.

Demo (with just a single map):

FWIW, I'm using the import function for this purpose. I delete all objects in the modified map except those I want to transfer and save it as a new file. Then I open the master file and import the modified objects. The new "paste at the original location" function might be a welcome shortcut. Thanks!
