GitHub - MphatsoChintedza/One-Time-System: The idea of this project was made by the team after doing a research which was carried out in 3 companies in Dublin. Questionnaires were made and given to the employers, supervisors and managers and employees. From the results of the research we found out that the companies main problem was having a paper based system for managing and communicating with the employees. For an employee to know their schedule timetables, notices, and book holidays they were required to wait until they were in work to discuss the matters face to face with their managers or employers. If the managers were not on duty that meant that they had to wait to make their bookings where they were back to work. The information that we acquired from the companies made us to come up with an idea of a computer based solution that would solve the problems using technologies and lectures we learned from studying at College of Computing Technology(CCT). The proposed solution we had was developing a web application that would suit every individual whether an employer or employer using computers, mobile phones or tablets. The name that was given to the app is OneTimeSystem. This app has been built as a communication hub and a management system, all in one application. OneTimeSystem will give an opportunity to the employers or managers to post news and notices, create schedule timetables, and manage holiday bookings for the employees. The employees will be able to book for their holidays, view their schedules and get access to the news and notices posted to the app.
