Portfolio Tracker Application

Portfolio Tracker app allows a user to track their shareholdings performance and total portfolio value in real-time. The "Discover" page allows you to select a number of stocks provided by the external API, real-time data comes from the NASDAQ stock exchange. User is able to compare different stocks, add them to their portfolio and track the total portfolio value in real-time which is displayed on "My Portfolio" page.

This is a group project, a full-stack web app using JavaScript and React front-end, Express server, and MongoDB database back-end.

  • View average and total paid prices of individual shares in the portfolio.
  • View a chart of total paid price, total value, profit, or loss.
