###AWS Zero Touch Secure Provisioning Kit FW Upgrade
- To Upgrade you kit's FW please follow the next steps
Connect your UBS cable to the EDBG USB Connector on your ATSAMG55 board
Download the latest FW for your kit here
For the next process you will need to download and install Atmel Studio 7 (Build 790 or higher) here
Web Installer (Recommended)
Install
- Open Atmel Studio
Go to Tool menu and open Extensions and Updates
The Extensions and Updates window will pop-up
Go to “Available Downloads” Tab
Download the latest Atmel Software Framework
Restart Atmel Studio 7
- Updating EDBG FW for ATSAMG55 Xplained Pro (If Required)
In the “Tools” menu of Atmel Studio 7 select “Device Programming”
As shown bellow, under “Tool” Select the XPRO-EDBG ATMLxxxxx for G55.
ATSAMDG55J19 should appear under “Device”
Interface” should be “EDBG
Then Click Apply
If the EDBG Firmware in SAMD21 needs to be updated the bellow window will appear.
Press “Upgrade”
This will upgrade your EDBG FW
- Updating your kit's FW
Close you Device Programming window
Compile your project
Open your Device Programming
Go to Memories
In the Memories pane, under Flash go to the directory where you have your .hex file. (This would the the Debig folder)
Press Program Button
Your FW has been updated
