$ dotnet tool install -g x

$ x new LegacyTemplates/razor ProjectName

Alternatively write new project files directly into an empty repository, using the Directory Name as the ProjectName:

$ git clone https://github.com/<User>/<ProjectName>.git
$ cd <ProjectName>
$ x new LegacyTemplates/razor
