Run Conway Game of Life

npm run dev

Usage

An intial grid will be shown. This can be re-sized using the slider controls. When you have the desired grid size, click on black cells to turn them green. This indicates that they are alive. Once you have the grid as you want it, select 'Start' to initiate Conway Game of Life. Cells will be changed between alive and dead by the application of these rules

  • Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if by underpopulation.
  • Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.
  • Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overpopulation.
  • Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

To stop the simulation, select 'Stop'
