  • 👋 Hi there, I’m @Kitamreik, nice to digitally meet you! My pronouns are they and/or she. I am a Full Stack Web Developer, with a concentration in Back End Development, as well as being a Global Restorative & Transformative Justice Practitioner.
  • 👀 I am currently working with CodeSquad as a Senior Teaching Fellow for the 2025 Cohort; how exciting!!!
  • 🌱 I have learned and practiced with Version Control Systems such as Git, GitHub, Markdown as well as the Front End- HTML, CSS, Javascript and the Back End- MongoDB, Mongoose and setting up servers and databases, as well as authenticating them via Google, GitHub and Clerk strategies!
  • 🌱 In 2024, I've successfully completed the Google Coursera Cybersecurity Course to gain an intermediate understanding of being a Cybersecurity Analyst as well as doing the ISC course. Additionally, I have completed the Headstarter internship as a Software Engineering Fellow over the summer- learning, integrating and implmenting React, Next.js, Node/Express.js, EJS (Embedded JavaScript), Python and Generative AI in several projects.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning and exploring Linux and Kubernetes. I plan to take the AWS, ISC and Security+ exams next year.
  • 💞️ I’m looking to collaborate on any "Good First Issues" to practice what I have been learning. I would like to connect around further opportunities to further refine my abilities towards entry level work for Full Stack/Back End Development, as well as management/for advancement.
