`proc-macro-error2` is the successor to the unmaintained `proc-macro-error crate`. It is a drop-in replacement that updates dependencies (no syn v1 for example),
and cleans up clippy warnings. If your minimal supported Rust version is greater than or equal to that of our MSRV policy (see below),
you can replace `proc-macro-error` with `proc-macro-error2` in your dependencies and `use` statements without needing additional migration work.

This crate aims to make error reporting in proc-macros simple and easy to use.
Migrate from `panic!`-based errors for as little effort as possible!
