Templates and guidelines relating to the ERIGrid Holistic Test Description (HTD).
For introductory use, read the . Here you find concept definitions, explanations of the template fields, step-by-step instructions and a few examples. Better even, read the paper [1]. Further guidelines explaining the approach and the different fields in the Test Description templates are in
.
For regular use, refer to the :
-- for initial drafting of test cases; e.g. print out as A3 format and fill out during face-to-face meetings. The canvas also serves as single-page pdf presentation format of a test case.
- Test Description Templates -- typical use: one document per test cases, then adding test specifications and experiment specification tables, which can appear multiple times.
In order to get more insights about the approach please have a look into the examples which are provided in the . Additional examples are provided also in the linked Documents for further reading below.
An extended use for experiment planning in case of multiple uncertainty sources was developed in ERIGrid 2.0. The Uncertainty Structure Analysis Template (USAT), found in is an excel-based template that is based on component-oriented structure of the System-under-test.
The template facilitates parameter screening and prioritization, but also the anticipation of uncertainty sources in different experiment implementations strategies.
The method is further described and exemplified in [11], which also should be referenced in case of future publications to reference its use.
