MediCheck is a modern, full-stack healthcare management platform designed to streamline hospital operations and enhance patient care. The project features a robust backend API and a responsive frontend, enabling seamless interaction between hospitals, patients, and administrators.

• User Registration & Login: Secure authentication and easy onboarding.

• Bluetooth Health Device Integration: Connect and sync health data from supported devices.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18+ recommended)
• npm or yarn
• MongoDB instance (local or cloud)

Setup

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/MediCheck.git
cd MediCheck

2. Install dependencies

• Backend:

  cd Server
  npm install

• Frontend:

  cd ../Client
  npm install

3. Configure Environment Variables

• Create a .env file in the Server directory with your MongoDB URI and JWT secret:

  MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
  JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret

• In Client, set the API URL in .env:

  VITE_API_URL=http://localhost:5000

4. Run the Application

• Backend:

  cd Server
  npm start

• Frontend:

  cd Client
  npm run dev

Visit http://localhost:5173 to access the frontend.
