Disciple.Tools - Homescreen Apps

The Disciple.Tools Homescreen Apps plugin enhances the Disciple.Tools platform by adding various applications to the homescreen, making common tasks more accessible to users.

Purpose

This plugin extends the functionality of Disciple.Tools by providing quick access to frequently used features and external resources directly from the homescreen. It simplifies workflows for users by:

1. Providing magic link templates for creating new contacts
2. Offering a coaching view to manage contacts you are coaching
3. Adding direct links to external resources like Bible apps, Zume Training, and WAHA

The plugin is designed to improve user experience by reducing the number of clicks needed to access common features and integrating external resources directly into the Disciple.Tools interface.

Usage

Will Do

• Add magic link templates for creating new contacts
• Provide a coaching view to see and manage contacts you are coaching
• Add direct links to external resources (Bible, Zume Training, WAHA)
• Allow users to create new groups via magic links
• Make common tasks more accessible from the homescreen

Will Not Do

• Replace core Disciple.Tools functionality
• Work without the Disciple.Tools theme
• Provide full access to all Disciple.Tools features

Requirements

• Disciple.Tools Theme installed on a WordPress Server (version 1.19 or higher)

Installing

1. Install as a standard Disciple.Tools/WordPress plugin in the system Admin/Plugins area
2. Activate the plugin
3. The homescreen apps will automatically appear on the Disciple.Tools homescreen
