Installation

Requirements

• Node.js 18.14.2

Install

npm install

Create a .env file

MONGODB_URI='' # URL for the MongoDB
PORT= # Number of the port
SECRET_KEY='' # For JWT
BCRYPT_SALT= # Number
NODE_ENV='development'
ORIGIN='http://localhost:5173' # For the frontend
TRANSPORTER_EMAIL_USER='' # Email for the transporter
TRANSPORTER_EMAIL_PASS='' # Password for the transporter
TRANSPORTER_EMAIL_HOST='' # Email host for the transporter
TRANSPORTER_EMAIL_PORT=587 # Email port for the transporter
RP_ID_PASSKEY # Where your server is running (without port neither protocol)
ENABLE_HTTPS # True or false

Generate a RSA key in the certificates folder

For that you can use:

• JSEncrypt
• OpenSSL rsa command (Unix only)

Usage

Run development server

npm run dev

Run production server

npm run start
