Ticket: CORE-331
Each project at rest costs ~$0.005/day. In the past, this has been seen as insignificant enough to not worry about, but in reality we spend ~$20000/year on our project pools. This PR cuts down the pool size across our environments from ~11000 projects to ~6000 which will reduce our annual spend to ~11000. We could further reduce the pool size if we wanted to be more aggressive about our cost-cutting.
The PR also removes references to the perf and alpha environments as they no longer exist.
I've included graphs of the pool utilization over time to give confidence that we aren't reducing the size by too much. All graphs except for
terra-integration
cover 90 days.terra-integration
only had data for the past 10 days, so that's what's included.
