What is TextPYOS?

TextPYOS is an MS-DOS/Linux inspired OS, attempting to give the feeling of older text-based operating systems. TextPYOS is written purely in Python. We encourage you to look at the code, and make modifications yourself!

Who does TextPYOS appeal to?

We try to make TextPYOS appeal to everyone, however not everyone is interested in old technology or modern recreations of it, so we mostly appeal to people who like old technology written with modern code.

Is TextPYOS a real OS?

Despite the name, TextPYOS is not a real operating system.
