Hi,

everything works fine till beta 3.
If I install beta 4 or 5, bubble card is not recognized anymore.
It is not listed under the cards.

  • OS: Android and Windows
  • Browser/App: Firefox and Companion App
  • Bubble Card version: 2.5.0 beta 4 and 5
  • Home Assistant version: 2025.2.4

Best regards
Hyper

Hi! This is an HACS issue, this is really random and doesn't happen to everyone, for example I downloaded it myself with HACS and I don't have any issues.

Some are fixing this by redownloading the previous release then installing the new one.

But if this still don't work, this should fix your issue 🤞

Don't forget to always clear your browser cache after any update.

i had the same issue and as already described, also for me the workaround was to go back to the latest stable release (re-download via HACS) and then download the latest beta again. Since then, everything is working.

Having this same issue with B8. b7 works fine. I've tried all the procedures in this thread, none work

Have you tried to clear your browser/app cache?

Yes, even a completely new browser doesn't work.
i think the problem is that HACS is actually downloading beta 7 when i click download beta 8.

If i go to dashboard resources and change the bubble card url from /hacsfiles/Bubble-Card/bubble-card.js?hacstag=6801129192508 to /hacsfiles/Bubble-Card/bubble-card.js?hacstag=6801129192507
it starts to work, but it runs version beta7. Even the version indicator on the cards show beta7

Can you try with hacstag=6801129192509?

I have the same issue. Unfortunately for me the following trick did not work:

Can you try with hacstag=6801129192509?

Edit:
For me it helped to uninstall Bubble-card and do a complete fresh install of beta 8. Now everything works again

The tag trick is different for anyone, you just need to change that big number to an higher one, that's why in my comment above I just changed the last '8' for a '9'.

Can you do this in the mobile app?

If it's changed on one device, it will work on all devices.

Here's an answer from the HACS dev about this issue, can anyone tell me if this help you understand the cause of this?

Also if someone can share logs, this can help a lot as well! 😄

Hi everyone! Ludeeus, the HACS dev, was finally able to reproduce this issue, and it will be fixed in the next HACS release! 🥳

This only happens with beta versions (any version that isn’t marked as “latest”). And after three months of beta testing, you can’t imagine how many times this issue has been reported, here, on the HA forum, on Reddit...

So I'm really relieved it's finally identified and being fixed. Huge thanks to everyone who helped report it and stayed patient along the way!
