DebianPE

DebianPE is an unofficial tool to patch Debian live ISO to be persistent, so your data saves after moving a USB from one computer to another or rebooting. This tool is not affiliated, endorsed, or authorized by Debian.

Usage

Advantages

• No effect on your internal hard drive.
• Take your files anywhere
• A bloat-free minimal base to build upon.
• Full featured Debian on a USB
• You can use it to install Debian on computers too.

Disadvantages

• USB sticks can be slow or unreliable
• Requires a Linux computer to create the USB
